How To Use An e-Gift Voucher?

Hello Friends, There is a survey site (starpanel dot startv dot in) which I had joined a long time ago. The first payment I received from them was through Paypal. After reaching my second payout limit when I was given the money redemption options Paypal was not there. Instead they have flipkart e-gift vouchers. I contacted them and asked them to send me a cheque, but they refused saying they only support the given payment modes. I have around Rs 581 in my account, but don't know how to use the gift voucher. Is there anyone who can help me with this? The site clearly states that e-gift voucher cannot be redeemed for cash, but is transferable. Is there any way I can benefit from this?

I really wish if the site could continue to pay in cash. I have never used an e-gift voucher and this seems to be somewhat tricky. Don't know whether I would get anything using that voucher or not.

Hi inderjeetkaur I think, you can use these vouchers on the flipkart site as that is what they proposed as the place to use them. Maybe you can buy something from that website and make use of these vouchers just like some real life vouchers which can be used at select outlets. Using these vouchers at flipkart would be as per the rules on that site - like for instance, you might be needed to buy a minimum worth of stuff and from that total costs, this 581 might be deducted. They can also ask you to buy XXX worth and get a discount of YYY - so you might have to buy more items in order to use that 581 INR.

Is it really safe to buy stuffs from such sites? Have you ever purchased any item through online shopping? How is the quality of the product? Oh no! Why isn't that survey site paying in cash...
