facebook or diary??

I don't think it wrong of you, thats just your way of using facebook- and honestly I don't think there is a "wrong way" to use it in this case. I personally do not use my facebook to post what is happening daily for me. Instead I post funny quotes or causes I believe in...once in a blue ill post a picture of my dinner when im proud of what I cooked and want to share it. I think it just depends on the person and how they choose to share what they share on facebook :)

yeah,,, i agree with you,,, oh you post a picture of your dinner..? wah i also want to post like that, but the problem i don't have camera to take picture of my creation so i just have to wait until my mom buy me one,,, thanks with your post. i'll try to make state of my daily less and try to post something like funny story or picture

Honestly I would change what you doing just because someone may not agree with it. That is life and everyone won't see things as you do. So ignore those that seem to bothered by what you post.

I think your friend only meant that you seemed to be posting and using facebook to broadcast what you do. I am sorry to say this to you and that i think people who are like this with their facebook accounts are annoying... They flood the feeds with nothing but their statuses, what they ate, what they did, and people couldn't care less. I am just being blunt and your friend could have just tried to ignore it but at least he let you know about it instead of just hiding your feeds from his news feeds (like what i did to my friends who does nothing but use their fb for statuses that are not important.)

that's the beauty of facebook- you can hide anyone from being seen in your news feed and still remain facebook friends with them. Post what you want..its your facebook...to those who don't like it or think its annoying...tell them that its their choice to either unfriend you or hide you from their news feed- simple as that.

I think facebook is like writing in a diary. I look back and see what I wrote at certain times and then I remember things that I seemed to have forgotten about. I don't put every detail of every day there but it is interesting to go back and see different things. The way I see it, it's no big deal unless there is something to hide, because one day if something happens to me, my family can go back and relive things through me unless it gets shut down by them first.

facebook is well designed social network for us to make friends or even to trace our old friends, relatives or even classmates. wall are designed in there so to let us voice what we feel, know, what is in our mind and etc. name an application and surely you will got in there. it is okay if we parade ourselves and thoughts in facebook but we must guard ourselves too. we need privacy of our lives so that is why we need not to post everything we have or feels. everyone can read it and may laugh at you, well, it could be prevented when you set the privacy of your setting. so it is up to you on how you participate there in facebook for i am a facebook lover as well. i just restricted myself not to be awkward to face my friends, if you know what i mean :)

yeah i do that, i only share what i thought, what i have done in school and many others except in private way,,, nothing much, but my friend said that i make my facebook as diary.. so i just have to make lees of what i state. thanks for your response

no,, i didn't state everything,, only when i'm at my school, in bad mood, and when i have to talking with the others but can't i post it in facebook,,, like that... i never post my private life... thanks for your comment

of course diary but if we can find it,i try to say is;after technology and internet has improved like this,nobody use pencil and diary,maybe some people do but,mostly people like to write their daily memories on facebook, i cant say i hate facebook,but sometimes its too much inside of our private life. and i dont like it.

Personally, that is why many of us like it here more, and more active here and share a lot of personal things here due to more private unless you don't mind everyone that is on your Facebook friends list being able to know about everything going on in your life. Yes, I have a Facebook account and from time to time post things going on in there, but mostly use Facebook more for helping build my online offline business as well.

I guess some people use it like a diary of what they do every day. I use it to keep in touch with friends and family and seldom put my status. Who cares what I'm doing...lol...

There is no right or wrong, we cannot tell you because we're not on your friend's list. The best way to check is to ask your friends who see your updates all the time. We get annoyed by our own friends sometimes for posting the never ending stories about their activities. Personally I enjoy reading about news, current affairs, promotions and marketing updates on facebook than to spend time reading about friends' updates.
