How Many Tabs Do You Keep Open At One Time?

I'm so bad about keeping open multiple tabs. Fidays are the worst. Friday is Freebie day for me and I keep the whole tab bar filled while I search for as many freebies as possible. Also, when I'm watching videos with SB I don't usually sit there and watch the video full on. I keep it open in the background while working on other stuff and change out the videos only when needed. As a result my computer is often very slow and hit gliches all the time. But, it's the best way for me to get as much done as possible in one swoop. Do you keep a lot of tabs open on your computer?

i always use many tabs.if i see a link and wanna open it i always use(open in a new tab) part.never use open in a new page. its easy to reach if i open many tabs on a same page. peace

I have a Swagbucks tab open on the computer, and then whatever else I’m doing. Usually between 2-4 depending on how busy I am.

I don't have a set amount. I currently have 4. However, I just restarted my computer. Before this I had more! LOL Same goes for windows. I tend to open more than I should. What can I say? I like to multitask while I'm online! LOL My husband on the other hand likes only one window/tab up at a time. It drives me nuts as it takes forever to do anything that way! Okay, so I do notice a slow down when I do it my way, but then again it's dial-up...it's slow either way. Happy mylotting!

When I am doing research I can have 10+ tabs open. One site will have a link which I open in a new tab so not to lose the original link and so on and so forth. When it gets out of control, I will start saving some links to a temporary folder in my Bookmarks/Favorites and close some of the tabs. (Nothing like trying to figure out what tab is what.) That's just my browser. We won't talk about how many programs I might have open on my taskbar.

I'm not necessarily multi-tasking, but it is usually for something I am writing and I need the tabs open to reference and provide my resources.

Some tabs are quiet once they load and are there if you need them but other tabs like movies can really slow your computer. I sometimes look for the heavy duty one and ask him to come back later.

Good day dismalgrin, Don't worry your not alone. I do the same thing you do, but 2days ago I complain in my hubby because my laptop is so slow but as he lokk at it he saw lot's of tab then close it all:( hhmp. He said it is more better to open 2 to 3 tabs because our internet connection is too slow. If I open multiple tab I will cannot accomplish what I need to do.Hehe just relax and make it one at a time (it depends on your connection too)
