I've been MIA for over a day, I missed the discussions here but I was busy having fun with the family yesterday. It was great! My husband had the day off and we had our first bbq of the season. Yum chicken, steak, and baked potatoes. Then this morning we got ready for the next big change in our lives. My daughter starts kindergarten in the fall and she had her assessment today. I think she did good I'll find out the results by the 3rd I think they said. At the very least she is excited now for school. Before she was upset and would cry every time school was mentioned. Now that she been inside and talked to the teacher, and she seen the huge playground out side she is excited. She's even excited that next month she gets to go back again to sit on the bus. Well I guess I will go check out my inbox and see what I have missed.

MIA means Missing in Action :) I've certainly been trying with her. She has been a bit slow in a way but I came to find out before Christmas that it is because she is extremely far sighted. But now we got her glasses and she is doing much better. She recently started going to speech therapy because she has trouble pronouncing certain letters. Like "L" if she says words that start with L like Love sounds like Wuv. she has trouble with the K sound Car comes out Tar. V is another one and G too I believe was an issue. But we are working on it and I think by the time she starts in September I think she will be more than ready and excited as well. She gets to go on May 21 to an information night and she gets to sit on the bus. She's very excited about that.

Every kid has speech problems. In time she will learn pronouncing. She will do good. With her friends.
