Doing Surveys to make money

Canada
April 17, 2013 10:14pm CST
So a long time ago I signed up for a whole bunch of different survey sites intending on doing surveys on-line to make some extra money. I never got to that point. But I recently logged back into a couple of them and I now have the motivation to go at it again. I just find that sometimes surveys can be tedious and not always worth the effort for what you get out of them. But I am going to try it and see how it goes. I am just curious, what sites do you use to do surveys? Any suggestions? I am already on: 1) Global Test Market 2) Vindale Research 3) NPD On-line Research 4) Great Canadian Survey 5) Web Perspectives Canada 6) Paidviewpoint I know of: 1) Toluna Opinions Can 2) Opinion Outpost and I know that I know a couple others but the names aren't coming to me at this time.

I love surveys, best way to make some extra cash. What about InstantCashSweepstakes, SurveyHead(iPoll), Mysurvey? GlobaltestMarket I used to love but takes forever to cash out. One more you can look into is SpringBoardAmerica.

Instantcashsweepstakes is no good for me as I live in Canada and it is only for U.S residents unfortunately. I have been with iPoll before and have an account with them, but I don't check in as often as I probably should. Yeah.. global test you need 1000 points for a cheque of $50.00

iPoll has an app you can use on your phone which is pretty cool.

I signed up for Toluna and Ipsos-Isay: I dropped Toluna and still receive surveys and payments from I-say. Toluna seemed promising and straight-forward. All I wanted were Paypal payments, and of course they offered extra drawings in contests and such. I'm not sure what market Toluna is looking for, because I rarely qualified, but more disappointing was the huge amount of points needed to cash out - something like 60,000 = $20. Compared with I-say, where I usually get five points just for trying to qualify, and make $15 every few months... Toluna just isn't worth my time. I must have made around $60 from I-say, though, and am currently waiting for my next payment to process.

I haven't really been doing any surveys for Toluna as I have too many other things that I do on-line and realizes that it would just take way to long in order to cash out. I mean compare them to Global Test Market, where 1000 points pays out at $50... mind you it is in cheque form... not Paypal which I would like, but still... a lot easier to obtain 1000 points then 60,000... especially since now I hear that the qualification for surveys is very low. I think I have heard of I-say, although never looked into them. I will have to see what they are all about! Thanks for sharing :)

I tried to join some survey sites before but I am just not lucky on this kind of activity. So I have to stop and look for other ways of earning online. Have a wonderful day!

They aren't like Mylot in the sense of discussion participation, but some of them do pay out via Paypal, you just have to find which ones is all. I know that iPoll does. If you're interested check out the ones that I originally listed as they are apparently some of the best ones out there and see which ones suit you :)

Hello Kementari, I only know one thing from your post, Global Test market, and it has been a constant survey that I only participate and get paid. Its been more than a year since we started on this site. We do it at the most convenient time we have. Actually we got paid twice. Surveys will come depending if they will send it to your email. But once you finish per survey, you need to accumulate 1000 points to get $50.00 and they only pay through check so you need to give your postal address for this. How I wish they have Paypal for an option, but till now its still on check, but don't worry, you can cash it without any problem if you correctly inputted your name and address correctly. Have a nice day!

I like to do surveys long time ago yet but unfortunately most survey sites prefer those who come from the western countries This prevented me from joining survey sites. There is one survey site though which accepted me. I cannot remember the name anymore I did one survey with them but never been paid.

I must say you have joined some of the best one and there are some regional ones are there too which you can use..I did also joined all of them but got success only with a few like globaltestmarket.from which I got paid twice and approaching for the third payment and I get surveys almost daily from them, there is another local site which pays less and pays through gift vouchers which I use to purchase things from two best online shops and I get what I want when I accumulate the points. There are still some others which also send me surveys from time to time. Now having long experience with survey sites I must say that if you are trying to achieve a monthly income working for survey sites it is not possible but yes if you mark them as a side income they are an extra income for you for your time spend online.

Hi Kementari! I have tried Paidviewpoint. Although the earning is only $0.03 per survey and they only send 1 survey in a day, in a way that's another cash to save. I haven't tried referring other members yet. I still have to wait for me to earn the minimum payout so I can show them some proof that the site is paying. I have read other people who has been paid. I am not interested to try another survey site as of now because I believe there are other ways to earn online that is worth our time. Have a nice day!

I want to earn in such survey sites but my patient won't let me. Its just it took long to finish such surveys, you need to fill up a lot of pages before you can finish one survey and I don't have enough patience with this. :( maybe not a kind of work for me.
