..my niece has grown up..

It was almost after 5 months, i met my niece. Me and my mother had been to my sis place and on reaching her place, i could see my niece playing with some toys and some months ago she was just staying on the lap my sister. Now she is a year and 5 months old and my sis told that my niece has been doing some new exciting activities like praying God, eating some food items of her own, reminding mom to answer a call if she is busy in some work, bidding goodbye to her father and brother when they r off to their respective works.
i was amazed to see how she has grown up and has been doing so many activities of late, besides 5 months back she was not recognizing me and i was a bit upset, but now she is very well recognizing me and i played with her all the time and felt very happy. I wonder that i have seen my nephew grow up right from his birth who is now 10 years old and now i am again seeing my niece grow up and it just gets me emotional.
What r your thoughts about this? Do u also get emotional whenever you see someone grow up in front of your eyes? Please do share your thoughts!

Kids grow up real fast. And within those 5 months, there really are a lot of new things that has happened to her.

ha ha ha, now that is called the joke of the year, well i am too young and i do not think there is any requirement of another addition, as i am still a kid by heart and mind in front of my parents. ha ha ha.
Let me grow up first then i will think on this. ha ha.

Yes dear friend, u are absolutely right, kids do grow up very fast in front of our eyes, it feels as if they were new born yesterday and they have grown up today. I could not believe that he has grown up as until yesterday i was holding her in my arms and now she is playing carefree. Yeah within 5 months, she has been doing many playful activities, i am really proud of her. God bless her.

Yeah kids do grow very fast, it seems as though they have grown up in few days. In fact every time i have met my niece i have vented out such reactions and my sister pacifies me that kids grow very fast as she has been handling two kids and she has observed this phenomenon more closely that me.

Your reactions and dealing with that is very vital to her growing so what I can suggest just stay cool and pretend nothing happened and just support anything she want to try and do if you think it is for the development of the child.

Yeah of course i have always stayed normal and never interfered in the development of my niece, i would certainly want her to grow in a healthy way so that i can give my best inputs to her in developing and building her personality. Even if react she cannot take notice of that also, ha ha.

Yeah u are absolutely right, for a mother she always feel happy to see her kids grow from the first day, the day her kids are born she sees her dreams in their eyes. I know my sister is equally happy and excited like me after seeing her activities and growing up so fast.
