What do you all think about our bomber. I know that in many places in the world bombers are not unusual, but here in the USA they are few and far between, so far at least. From the very first I felt there was something very strange about this second bomber, the younger brother. In the video that was released to the public, he walked behind his big brother and looked, very young and very much like a boy going on a picnic. He made no effort the cover his face, and while his big brother looked very business like, serious, and covered most of his face, this remaining bomber looked like he was going to a game. I think his game has grown very serious and may cost him his life. From the outside looking in, what a waste these two men's choices have made. I think of the dead and all the injured people whoes lives are changed forever, I also think of the families of the bombers, what a price they have been asked to pay. Very bad Karma for all involved. But also great chances for unbelievable good to come from this. Can you see what I mean? Important choices for all involved to make. All of us can chose to use this to do some good.

I am shaken by a society centered in violence. While it is true that these people could be mentally ill, it is true that children watch bombings and gunfights since they are born.

Where these two boys were born, they lived the bombings and gunfights. What can you expect from them? There are always choices, different people who came from the same background would spend their lives trying to improve the world.

My friend commented on this issue, saying that multiculturalism in this situation has failed. She further add that if these two men didn’t see the differences as a bad thing –maybe they could have understood the society they live in and probably didn’t set this horrible event in the first place. I don’t want to speculate on the motive since I only have international news to go by. But for people who were in America for a good umber of years, I am in wonder why they did this. I keep wondering what issues they have in America and the people to go this far. I would assume that they were given every benefit like any American citizen. This will be an interesting story to follow.

I have been following the the bombing incident until the capture of the bomber from CNN. This is what happened to countries that freely admit people to their countries as citizens. They bite the hands that feed them. It happened to my country recently when the muslim refugees from the Philippines were given citizenship, revolted against our government and killed many security officials when they tried to apprehend them. I don't know what demons possessed the minds of those people who terrorized the innocent public in their adopted country. They should be thankful to be accorded the same status as the true children of the country instead used the golden opportunity to champion unacceptable and distorted teachings to harm others. It was very unfortunate that the two good looking bombers wasted their lives on such foolish acts. Their stupidity have caused grievances and sufferings to the victims that would haunt them for the rest of their lives.

This could do some good but it's unlikely because the good would be politically incorrect. This massacre was a waste of two young men who had a lot of potential. They listened to people who pick and choose what they teach from the Koran, ignoring the prohibition to avoid killing innocents or destroying a man's livelihood. They ignore the good that it teaches and focus on the bad and ignorant people buy into it. Nearly every religion or branch of a main religion does this and people are so sheep-like that they don't question it or bother to read their holy book themselves. For what it's worth, let's not fail to recognize that Muslims throughout the country are condemning this latest act of terror. They don't care what religion those horrible men were. They are not politically correct, they just call out wrong for what it is and we should do no less. I hope I didn't stray too far from the point. I feel it's important to fight evil wherever it is, in a civilized way without regard to where it comes from or who may be offended.

The two young men are definitely mentally ill. Perhaps they were being brain washed to be terrorist for taking revenge against the American action in the Middle East. President Obama failed to impose control on fire arms. The sad story of Boston proved the genuineness of Obama's attempt.

Hi savypat, yes, it can be used for good and I hope it will be. As I understand it now, the young man is in serious condition in hospital and may never get a change to tell his story. If he should get better though, I think the question must be asked "what should happen to him"? It is a question that every civilized society needs to ask at such times. Blessings.
