Painted my daughters fingernails today...

I painted my daughter's fingernails today. She's almost 2 years old. Didn't think I'd be painting her nails already but she saw me doing mine and got so excited about the colors of all my nailpolish bottles and wanted hers done. I was shocked how still she sat and she didn't touch them at all and let them dry. Now she keeps showing them to me saying pink. Now she wants her toes purple! I love being a mom : )

When I was a youn mother, we did not paint our daughters nails. I imagine that is part of how old I am. I don`t even know if my daughter painted my granddaughter`s nails when she was little. But your post made me curious and I will ask her

Probably not.. I know my mom didn't paint my nails probably at all. I didn't paint them probably until I was 12 or 13.

kemak28 Aw that brings back memories of my girls...2 and 3 are such delightful ages..frankly all ages are if you remember to stop and enjoy them. They grow up sooooooo fast.
