Hi mylotters. Need to ask you if you have any information about this. I am worried about my 5-year-old girl. She has long curly hair. Lately, I noticed that whenever after shower, I comb her hair and always stuck at the end. When I take a closer look at her hair, there are many split ends ! What can be the cause of it ? She is still young and it puzzles me why young hair can have this .

do you use or put any chemicals on her hair a lot? like hair spray or use shampoo that is not mild enough for her young hair? could be that is the cause for damage of her hair. i also have my 4-year-old daughter and 5-year-old niece and i have never noticed any damage or split ends on their hair. just try using mild shampoo, like a baby shampoo for her hair and also limit the use of chemicals like oils and stuff, their hair is still young and we must be able to protect it from those harsh and hard chemicals we put on their hair. this is just all i can say.

Hi, Maybe you need to change shampoo, maybe the shampoo that you are using now is too harsh for her vulnerable hair strands. Better use a milder shampoo kor kids, use a detangle shampoo so it will be easier to comb. You need to see to it that your daughter drinks 8-12 glasses of water to keep her hydrated. Its also important that she is well nourished so taking vitamins is a must. Doing this, will not only put back the luster and shine of the hair but also keeps your daughter healthy.
