Oh mayor you are so unfair!

I and my husband are discussing while ago about our about-to-open-bussiness and I can't believe what hejust said. He can't find a best place for our business since one of the right hand of our present mayor knew that he will not vote our present mayor for the tupcoming election.. Is there really a rule about this? What is the connection of my husband's vote in renting a room for our business? It's so unfair...

Hello kimte20, I think you should have video or taped record this conversation because this is a clear violation of their vow to commit public service to your district. there is no rule on this, but it's violation you must report this to the media or record it again once you have confirmed the same abuse. i am boiling my head here. is this guy running again for mayor? that's not supposed to be his business on whom your husband vote

hello kimte! what your mayor is doing is an example of political bullying and harassment. just because he does not have your husbands vote he is giving you a difficult time setting up your business. your mayor is a dictator in the making i hope he does not win in the coming election!

Wow the more that you should not vote for him hearing him say that. I really do not know what exact ruling about this but I can see that there is something wrong about his actuation. But that is really hard to prove unless you can present an evidence or a witness who can support you that he said this. As far as the law is concerned what you just said is hearsay unless someone heard or saw the incident. You have every right to start a business in the place you want to put that for as long as you are following the procedures for opening it.

Or as an alternative don't put your business in there at all. Wait after election is done and if the current mayor did not make it then maybe you can try applying for the permits so you can have it process without prejudice from the mayor. If he wins then I think you should find a much suitable location for your business to be conducted because for sure this mayor will just haunt you since he won again.

It's because of politics. Since it's election time, your mayor is doing it well enough because of desperation. Your present mayor is just afraid that if he approved your business, he can't get a commission.

What is the connection of renting a space for your business with your vote. And how did the leader of the mayor knew whom you will vote. I think you should ask the assistance of a lawyer or have a witness to know what this mayor's man are doing so that a case could be file against them just in case.

Is the area that your husband is eyeing owned by the Mayor? Definitely there is no such rule that if you want to rent a place for your business you must vote for this specific person. I think that it is a form of harrassment. The only thing I could see here is if this Mayor owns the place where your husband wants to put up his business, then I think he has the right to choose to whom he would lease his property. The way I see it, he is using his power and property to get support from people and so to win the coming election. Another thing, how come they knew that your husband won't vote for him? Is it really possible to know whom you voted for?

I'm sorry to know this thing. I don't know why not having to vote for someone will be a reason why you cannot get a good place for business. Do they own the whole place in your area?

how they've come to know about your husband's vote is a mystery. you said it's upcoming so he hasn't cast his vote yet and he can change his mind anytime. what is the conncetion of the mayor's staff with the place that you want to rent? is he or is the mayor the owner of this? if not, then i don't understand why your business plans will get affected. talk to the owner of the place and tell him that you're interested in renting it.

this is a public market owned by public. this is just one of his projects.. he is the one who renovate and made it larger using the money of people.. my husband is supporting the other party by rally and organizing meetings
