Do you make donations to community organizations ?

I support charities through my church and my community I also give blood and that is one way to help others.

whenever i can, i try to help in my own little way. non government organizations would sometimes conduct fund raising campaigns on italian tv. if we send an SMS to a specific number, the phone company charges us one/two euros (depends on the agreement) and they remit the money to the NGO. i usually participate in these. my financial position does not allow me to give more than these small donations. if ever i have extra, i'd prefer to send a poor but deserving student to school. i've always thought of doing this, if ever i have plenty of money.

Yes I do, whenever I am able to I do. My favorite charity is the one that caters and helps to orphans and children from indigent homes who can't afford school supplies to even go to public schools. More than the help that we give the beneficiaries, it also helps us because it makes us feel good knowing that we did something selfless.

In my city community organisations are not helping needy people. They receive donations to develope their organisations only. I didn't give any donations to such organisations. I used to give donations to orphanage and some helping trusts.
