This Is Just Ironic!

For the last couple of days prison guards in Edmonton Alberta and a few surrounding areas, have been on strike. The government is trying to force them back to work, and they are refusing. In the meantime RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) officers, and some other city workers are going in to make sure things get done, but there's still a lot of crap going on in the prisons. Inmates complain about not getting meals and medications on time, and I understand cells are getting totally trashed. It was said on TV that the male side of the one prison reacted with a lot more danger than the female side. It's said that if they don't come back to work RIGHT AWAY, they are going to face fines or jail time. How ironic is that? If the guards are not there to do their job, and are sent to jail, isn't this just going to give more WORK to the RCMP officers, and others called in to pick up the slack? LOL Not sure they want to admit it, but it seems that the guards have their bosses by the balls.
