To eradicate poverty,we have to try and find solutions to solve issues of politics and religion which waste our time and money, instead we should discuss how we can increase our productivity by group effort.

Wow,the discussion is in depth to some extent.I believe that having a good control over our personal life and work can do benefit to the whole country. At least, this is the first step which we can achieve.

I think that the very first step in getting rid of poverty is removing the mentality that there is nothing we can do about it. The mind is the very first object you must overcome. After that, you have to be willing to help yourself. There may be a lot of programs out there to help solve poverty. But if you yourself don't choose to do something about it then things will remain the same. You must to take the initiative to get out of poverty.

In the society there are still so many people living under poverty. It is related to the governement policy to a great extent. First of all, education is of vital importance for all people. Secondly, life insurance, medical insurance, and some other kinds of insurance for all the nation are very important for the nation to live a moderate life. If everyone who longs for a better life contributes himself to the society with all his might under a good policy by the government, I am sure many people will get rid of poverty gradually.

Proverty is growing all over. More jobs and ways for people to make money. Lowering the gas prices will lower grocery prices. Educating people on how to eat for less and effective grocery shopping would help as well.

Provide yourself as much as possible, if it comes to food, clothes etc. Everything you need to buy will cost you money plus the quality will mostly be bad. Take very good care of things you already own. Borrow if possible and also take good care of property of someone else. There is no need to posess everything yourself. Exchange what you have (property, food, your qualities, body power, etc for what others have and you need, so no money needed). People waste a lot: clothes, food, furniture, cellphones, etc. Do not buy (want) things you will never need or just to be someone. BTW as long as you still have a computer, are stll able to join the internet you are not that poor at all.

In countries where poverty is aplenty, usually the literacy rate is not high. In India's case, it is 74% compared to the world's average of 84%. Furthermore, of the 74%, 82% is for male and female is just 65% (Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Literacy_in_India) Make education the priority in your development projects. Do an awareness campaign to get more girls into schools. "Educate one man, you educate one person, but educate a woman and you educate a whole civilization" by Mahatma Gandhi - How true it is! When you have a knowledgeable society with skilled workers, the income level will increase and the economy will progress. Once you are competitive in many technology fields, your country will be developed and foreign investments will come in and create many jobs for the people to do and earn. Education is the only workable way to eliminate poverty.

I think that proverty is awful. If people were willing to give other human beings a chane and if some human beings appreciated the jobs they had when they had them the world will be a better place.

Small scale enterpreneurship. There are a lot of private organization or big companies which we can tap in order to promote this. This is the power behind Villar's hanep-buhay. Tapping the natural resources of the community, offer skill training, provide managerial knowledge, can help augment income.
