last weekend, the family went to a beach sponsored by an organization where my mom is an officer. truth is, we're all kind of disappointed with the place. it's not like we hoped it would be. plus there came high tide. but you know what, i'm still happy at the end of the day. i realized it doesn't matter where you go. what matters is who you're with. i really enjoyed the day because i was with the people i love.

I was at a beach in Thailand recently. It is Pattaya Beach, southeast of Bangkok, about 90 minutes drive. A beautiful beach, one of the most popular beaches in the Southeast Asia region. You might visit when you have the chance.

I am glad that you enjoyed the company of the other people. High tide is not a great time to be on a beach. I have local beaches within four miles. It is windy, there is sinking mud and dangerous tides. I love to see palm fringed beaches most of all. I adore swimming or snorkeling in the sea.

That is so true, my friend. Just being with the people you love makes every single time really worth it. It is not often that we get to be together and enjoy ourselves with them. So let us always cherish each moment with them.

Sorry to hear the place was not to you and your family's expectations. I believe you may have been thinking that since your mom is an officer of the organization, things would have been better. I remember taking a vacation with the family and the hotel was just plain yuck compared to the expectations their website gave to me. We ended up have the best time ever because we were all together. Enjoy your loved ones because tomorrow is never promised. You are right, no matter where you go as long as you are with your loved ones all is good!

It is a pity that the place was different from your expections, but like you say, you can still enjoy the experience if you focus on spending the time with the people you love. I had a similar experience last summer. My husband, my friend, my friend's girlfriend and I visited a German island called Sylt. The trip definately wasn't perfect. The weather was terrible and it rained all day, the food was not very good, the waiter was rude, we had to pay huge fees that we didn't know about, and everything was far from perfect But all those things didn't really matter because we had such a good time with our friends.

Hi friend! I cannot agree more! I can create fun myself but it can be more enjoyable with the people I love to be with, I like to be with or I can be myself with. My family, mother's side and my new circle of friends are the ones I want to spend time with because they can understand me, we can share what we like to do without complain and we all have fun no matter. Thanks for the discussion! :) Oh BTW, I had the same experience with a not-what-we-expected kind of beach and just created our own thing to enjoy. It works! :)
