I always said with our co mylotters that Mylot is not just an earning site but also a learning and entertaining site. Mylot is really very useful even the earning is not existing anymore. Me? If I would ask, If I'll gonna stay here even there is no earning? I would answer, yes, as long as there is an unlimited and free internet access here in our office lol.

For me, it's 50/50. It's about the money and it's about the friendship as well. LOL. We can't do anything about the changes so let's just stay here and enjoy the new mylot face. I hope it will be that interesting. Who knows, it's much better than Facebook or any other social networking sites. Let's not care about the money. They had decided about it. It's their site. We're only members. How sad.

I think I smell a defensive attitude approaching from the back alleys of mylot. Maybe you better hide. hehe You may have hit a nerve. I don't have much to say about it. I don't think I ever did say why I was here. I just kind of stumbled in out of the rain, you might say. Hmmm...I will return later.

Well Mavic I am poor. For those people maybe $10 is nothing and not mean anything to them because they rich for me it is very worth to me. I'm not hypocrite like some other mylotter they always say they not care about earning but when mylot say they not pay anymore they complain.

Mavic! You are everywhere today. Following the young good looking guys around I see. haha! Aka, you would make a very good model. You're tall and slim and very handsome. Your hair is exceptionally beautiful. Maybe you should try to make that work for you. Asian is very popular these days. Search for information on anything. Even local stuff, like cosplay clothes modeling or places that do hair. Let them experiment on your hair and they might pay pay you.

i have only been here for a month and a half. i was on an extended vacation and i had nothing to do so i surfed the net for ways to earn money online and i encountered mylot. i got hooked because i enjoy the discussions a lot. now that i'm back to working offline, i log in daily when i'm off work. i know i would earn more of i do odd offline jobs but since i enjoy this site, i prefer to stay here. the money is small and we can't live on this income alone. however, the cents piling up everyday was like a piggy bank for me. i had set my payout to the max because it was like i was saving daily. i will still be here. i want to know how the new site turns up. i will read through the discussions but i can say i won't post as much as i do now.

I have always maintained that the little money is an incentive here; but I cannot deny the fact that I have met some good friends here too; this is the only site I have been steadily active in and used to earn 10 dollars in three or four months; it has even gone up to six months earlier. But any people used to say that earnings are slow here; if earnings was the only motive, people would naturally go away from here. Similarly if there were no friends at all and no discussions then there is nothing to keep us here. I still would maintain, that mylot was unique in helping us do what we like --namely chat with friends and get paid for it too.If that is called being 'materialistic' I accept it. Let us wait to see how the new site is and not come to conclusions; personally I don't think much of FB. What is so great about it? mylot was better when it was paying us because no other forum has been as steady as this; I thank mylot for what it was all these days. If ti is going to be another FB, I will be as active or inactive as I am in FB.

me too.. I can't just leave mylot that way, even if my interior motive is to earn. In my definition of friends I don't have much friends here or this is already immaterial to some friends that I have met here because, we are contacting through emails and chats. I said that meeting friends here are circumstantial and I did. yes, grvdubey am not very active to FB I don't earn there but like what i said I connect to my family and friends through FB.

I think they feel hoodwinked a little. And the wording of the announcement was so dismissive. It does feel a little underhanded. I mean people can have their own opinions, obviously. And this comes after another site similar to this one completely changed. And on that site there was not even a seven day warning. I see a lot of the old time members saying they'll still come, just not nearly as often.

yes I think they had it done in a wrong way... and wrong time.. maybe they should have told people a month in advance or right after the April payout. and this week is when ... tomorrow? the next day. some people want to get their fair share ... it is his effort why not he has the right to do that. tsk tsk tsk.. why 5$ at least give the person what is due her/his. give all if he earns 1.5 $ give it to him.

my point sir, is... the admin thought probably that because most people were saying it is OK for them not to earn... then it is ok not to give payout now now some or most of them are complaining... I don't. I am ok.

Mavic! I don't think any members who said that they are not here for the money are the causes for the payments being withdrawn.I a m sure the admin and owners of the site had different reasons. THey may have found it difficult to pay; business would always have such downsides. They have the integrity to tell us . Good!

When I was in my highly active stage of being on myLot, I came to realize that it wasn't about the money but being able to meet new people with common interests. I will admit to the fact that I came here to make a small earning, but it changed once I became active and started communicating with people in the community. There is more to life than just money and you can't buy friendship. :)

whoops mavic, kindly scratch my head as well or better shake me for this morning it was so embarrassing when i made a discussion out of it. i thought everything happens for goodness sake but if to comprehend well, it was the reverse thing. yours is a simple confusion but mine was a totally wreck out of the mind understanding. while others are mourning for the payment changes, i am happy about it in my discussion i started because it took it that way. but thanks for it also, because without the reread advises of some members here, i may not understand well what mylot has to say. gosh, very shameful haha but as you were saying, who wants money :)

Oh how I was alarmed by this, lol. Its just that I am so excited to reach my points to a payable cost for the first time here for a remembrance,lol but sad to say myllot will about to unpay the active members. I just hope that i can have my first payout before anything else...lol

Maybe they were just shocked by the news...I myself didn't see it coming. I think when people were saying that money was not the reason why they're in mylot, what they meant was that money was not the primary reason why they're here. Friends and fun were, but money remained to be a motivation and a justification for them to do it here than any other place. And now that the money part is gone, I think it's natural for them to feel like there's no reason to stay. I'm going to wait for the new mylot. If I like it like I like the current mylot, I'm staying even without the money.
