Sleek Elegant ...new Mylot !

I have just logged into mylot after a week or so and I am totally in love with this new look. All the discussions are placed uniquely and personal space is pretty discrete. What do you think of the new look? What's the best feature in this new look as per your opinion?
PS: I'd suggest a pop-up notifier instead of a link in the notifications area though. What say guys?

I think that a pop-up notifier could become annoying. I like the fact that "Me" now carries a little red number when you have notifications pending and when you go to "Me", you can also see whether there are Notifications or Messages (or both) and how many are unread.
In 'Settings', you can configure exactly what notifications you want to receive and you can choose whether you receive them by email or on site or both.
Notice, too that there is now a 'Help' link next to your avatar on every screen. This links to the new Community Guidelines (and eventually more).

@TazRes It has something to do with the way the site has been coded. They have set it up so each thing opens in a new window or tab. I think the best you can do is comment on the feature request discussion GoAskAlice started last week, although I did already bring the new window thing to their attention. Perhaps more complaints will encourage them to change how the links work.
