So, I joined this place, found out about it from Bubblews. I am not sure what this place is though. I see that people share similar to the way that they share on Bubblews, but I'm not sure what the purpose is. Is there money to be earned, is it like Facebook? I have no idea.

mylot is a community where you can post whatever is on your mind.......and ask for responses. questions about life? religion? politics? or even just commentary about what is going on in your life and wanting to reach out to others who have been in the same situations.......this is not a paid site......but more over a site seeking a community oriented towards people connecting with people. welcome! fyi......Where in the United states are you? (northern new england here...)

Nice description, Liz! "A site seeking a community" is on the nail, I think. It's a little like a town where many people have moved away and now we have to find new people to come and live here. I'm sure it'll happen in time, once people realise what they can do here and how useful it can be in other areas of their lives!

Actually mylot used to pay its members for their activity such as participating in discussions, using their search bar, doing some tasks, commissions from referred members, etc. However, they decided to change their site into something different. In other words it's now like twitter + facebook + big forum + yahoo answers. Unfortunately, many members weren't happy with this change, the major complaint is the removal of the earning platform of the site. Anyway, the new site looks good somehow and very similar to twitter in some aspects, hopefully someday they would return the earning platform, so that many members can enjoy earning while participating on different discussions on this site.
