My first and last myLot payment

Thanks myLot. Although I did not earn much I thought that monetary incentive was what the majority if not all mylotters wanted in spite of what they say like they are here because of the fun, bonding with fellow myLotters etc.etc. Well, only time can tell if these people are what they say and continue to stay and contribute to myLot or leave for good.

One thing you gotta understand is that many mylotters that left didn't leave because the earning program was stoped. They left because of the way it was stopped and bacause the layout became a copy of twitter/facebook.

Exactly. I liked the simple, bugless interface it had before, and I disliked having payments stopped when I was 15 cents from making payout ... I still check in here occasionally, but the page won't even scroll to the top right now, so why should I spend time here?

@jdawg011 However, myLot was kind enough to make the payment to me even though I was under the threshold, so I do appreciate that. Maybe when the site is a bit less buggy I will check in more often.

@jdawg011 because they lowered it from $5.00 to $4.50.

I was with the other site that went under until almost the end, when it was impossible to stay any longer because almost everyone was gone and most of them were here. I enjoy the interaction, but when there's no one to interact with it makes it hard.

@just4him I guess you're one of the rare few who stayed on not because of monetary rewards but because you find interaction more fun and worth your time.

@succeednow I do. I like the money too, but I love the interaction more.

I agree with LegalAlien. I didn't know mylot paid you for participating until after I joined and that was several years ago. I never "cashed in" on my payout and never intended to. I was on mylot for the fun, seriously. If I leave it will be because of the "new look."

I left here and went to Bubblews . I came back when i was informed it is again paying . I didn't regret coming back here because the former ones were also here already again .

@SIMPLYD So you were one of the many who left when this site stopped paying. Yes, it's such a pity that Bubblews couldn't last.

It seems that you're still active yet here on myLot why you dont want to be active in creating new discussion again?

you know what, that's what disappointed me about all this, the things some mylotters readily "assumed" about other mylotters.

Many will be here to connect with the friends they have made.

I have seen that every time a site stop paying all the users stop writing. I hope that this site will continue, because it's a great site.

@Macarrosel I shall post a discussion when I can find something. At the moment I'm happy just to respond and comment on others' discussions.

It depends on the choice of the member. Some really come here for interaction and friendships; and to think it is just pennies they earn, so friendship here is the motive for staying here always.

@acelawrites You're probably right that those who stay value the friendship more than the pennies they get. However, from what I understood a lot of people have moved elsewhere when the site ceased the paying program. I guess for them the time they spent here can be converted to monetary value elsewhere.
