I am off on my trip to Eastern Europe / myLot

Yes, tomorrow I am off on my trip by train to the Ukraine and Moldova. My kids and I have all our luggage packed up. We will take the Euro Star Train to reach the continent. Then we have a night train to Prague, a night train to Krakow and a night train to Lviv. Do you like traveling by day or night. Why?

I prefer to travel by day so that I can see the scenery. I have taken trains and slept on them (though too cheap to pay for a berth), but it's not so comfortable.

Hi maximax, how are you ? I was confused about the changes of mylot's new settings. So I was out of mylot for long time. I always get interest to your posts. I think in the mean time you and your kids enjoyed the trip to Ukraine and Moldova. I think the culture of Eastern Europe is quite different than Western Europe. What about Euro Star Train ? Is it a fast running train ?

That sounds like an amazing trip - I hope you enjoy it and gain an interesting insight into the Country. My eldest daughter flies to Nice in a week and then catches a train to San Remo in Northern Italy to spend the summer working in an Italian summer camp - I am a little envious of her. I love the train and I really don't mind when I travel
