I do not believe legalizing Gay marriage is good gfor our society. I dont believe it is an inherited right by our constitution or by standards of marriage. Boys the role models and girls need role models but they should not be seen as an aberration. Civil unions which protect their rights is ok but marriage should be for reserved for men and women who go through the struggle in the way it was intended by biology.

people expressing their love is good for any society. I don't see a difference between straight and gay people as such. what's good for one is good for the other. repression of homosexuality is indicative of a repressive society. Bottom line....what has it got to do with you? If 2 people want to express their love through marriage how does that impact in any way on your life?

I say just get government the heck out of marriage altogether. Government should not be in the business of defining marriage, nor rewarding or penalizing it through the tax code.

How do gay people get to be married if the laws aren't passed to allow that? Governments should be leading the way saying we believe in equality for all of our citizens.

@mike05 Simple. If there is no government definition of it, there is no law against it.

@xfahctor that's a fair comment. thing is governments have defined it so now they need to ensure equality.
