I received the following message from a myLot user and would like to warn others of the scam. This is a form of the Nigerian Scam where they promise you a share of a large sum of money. All they ask is some money to show good faith. Here is the message I received: Messages with Mrs Carol Goodclose Greetings in the name of our lord Jesus Christ, I was touched to send you this mail after I have carefully gone through your profile that speak good of you. I am Mrs. Carol Good, from Canada married to Late Kelvin Good, who worked with a construction company in London. My husband was one of those who died in London bomb blast, but before his death, we were unable to produce children and I am 60 years old now. During his life time, he deposited a huge amount of money (TEN MILLION POUNDS STERLING ) GBP10M with a finance firm in London. Currently, i am in hospital Lome - Togo West Africa, for inquiries of Charity and Orphanage homes my husband wanted to open in Africa before his death before my sickness got worse and i cannot make any movement now according to the doctor. However this money is still with the finance firm in London and the finance firm just wrote me a letter to come forward for the release of the money but I am old and weak to move on with the business due to my present health condition. Presently I am in a hospital where I am undergoing treatment, and my doctor told me that my condition is very bad to say that I have few time to Live. I need a trustworthy person that will utilize 70% of this money to Poor people, Orphanages Charity Organizations and Widows around the world on my name, while 30% of the total money will be for your help working with me in this matter, as soon as I hear from you I will then give you the contact of the finance firm where this fund is being deposited at the moment and guide you on what next to do. Please I will need your assurance that you will act as I stated here-in and keep this contact confidential till such a time this funds get to your custody. This is to ensure that nothing jeopardizes my last wish on earth. Provide me with your private email address and telephone numbers if you are interested, so that I can forward it to the bank for immediate release of the money to you. Waiting to hear from you and remain blessed. Please, reply me through this email mrscarolgood01@yahoo.com.ph Regards Mrs. Carol Good Under the new myLot I could not find a way to contact myLot to report this violation of the rules. If someone knows how to do please feel free to share this with the powers that be.

You could post the mylot user's name here so we block them although that doesn't stop them from creating another bogus account.

I so hate scammers. I wish that they would get what they deserve....to spend the rest of their lives behind bars.

Wow that is ridiculous that someone would do such a thing. There is a lot of scammers now days that no one can be really trusted anymore. I'm glad mylot took them right. Out cause we don't need people like that.
