I'm getting used Sebring. The lot is right across the street. My car is at a repair shop which is not across the street. I would like to get the car tomorrow morning. The only way I can do that is to get a ride to the shop today, get my license plate and my registration and walk across the street to pay for and get my car tomorrow. They won't release the car with both I usually put these extra keys in this drawer upstairs. I went to get them and they're not there. I did use these keys not too long ago. I'm sure you have lost keys and found them. where did you find them?

Sometimes,it(the missing stuff)just appears in front of you quite soon once you give up finding it! But this time, seems that you have no time waiting for your keys coming out itself!

i predict that you will find them in the last place you look ...but until you figure out where that place is, all i can do is wish you luck!

OK, you may think this weird but it has worked for me many times. St Antony of Padua is the 'Patron Saint of Lost Things' The exact words don't matter too much and I have never done it for 9 days as the name ('novena' suggests). The only thing that matters is that you recite it solemnly, and preferably with some sort of belief that it works: St. Anthony, perfect imitator of Jesus, who received from God the special power of restoring lost things, grant that I may find [name the item] which has been lost. At least restore to me peace and tranquility of mind, the loss of which has afflicted me even more than my material loss. To this favor, I ask another of you: that I may always remain in possession of the true good that is God. Let me rather lose all things than lose God, my supreme good. Let me never suffer the loss of my greatest treasure, eternal life with God. Amen. If you do this, I can nearly guarantee that you will find your keys ... maybe not as soon as you had hoped, but in time, anyway.

i learned that from a friend at my first job. i dropped by her department and she was preoccupied because she was trying to find a memo and murmuring to herself and seconds later, she did find it. from them on i did the same. it wasn't like that prayer you wrote, we just called on him and talked to him while looking for it or taking breaks if needed.

@hereandthere I usually say something like "O blessed St Antony, I have looked everywhere for [the thing] and cannot find it. Please will you help me." Nearly always, whatever it was I was looking for just happens to catch my eye, very often in a place I had already looked and usually just where I thought it would be!

well, I believe in God and occasional devine intervention so the next time I lose something I'll try that

It is usually in my pocket if not on a key peg. Hopefully you have located it by now?
