ever driven your car with your coat belt hanging caught in the car door

have you ever driven your car not knowing you coat belt is hanging out the car door and not knowing about it ,
i have a stone colour trench coat and im allways catching the belt in the car door and not knowing some times driving for miles not much fun on a wet day cause i have to walk round with the belt on my coat all wet and dirty for every one to see what i,ve done

Various clothing items of mine have been stuck in the door, but its usually caught in time. Its a mystery how they end up like that in the first place.

cause they get forgot about when getting in the car and getting shut in car door and left to drag along the road and flap around

That does suck....can't say i have ever really done that myself, i am more prone to going out for the day, and spilling something on my shirt that stains it and having to deal with people thinking i am a slob. Of course i don't help matters out by feeling the need to explain about the spot to people as i am self conscious about it, when in all likelihood they might not have even noticed in the first place!
