Do you think that our God is eternal?

Ok,God is eternal,so there is no need to raise questions on his beginning and end.Because he has always been there. At first he was alone, then he creates the universe. Now he is not alone.lol. Before creation he was nothing!! just a GOD (a potential),but after creation he became the creator, the reason for everything. So God has changed from being just a potential to a creator,So he is susceptible to change. So time is above him,in another words-he obeys time. But time is also one of his creations?Isn't it?.So why did he create something that is so powerful that even he has to obey.Is it even possible for him to create something that is more powerful than him.(Yes,coz he is "the GOD"). A thing that changes with time can never be eternal?right?Maybe he is JUST immortal, but not eternal? What do you think? Sorry I can't explain it any better for my grasp of English is .

What is god? I think in the scheme of things the main thing about what is a god or a creator is what we can see around us. for example the air, water, lower and higher life forms, etc. To know what we call god or creator we have to think outside of the box to get the answers we seek. I think that we all have a god self whether we brlieve it or not. My conclusion about the existence of a god or creator is that you can't prove it or disprove it.

@garavegeta "Our" implies that we all worship the same God. That's not the case so I'm asking for specifics. To which God are you referring?

I believe that God is forever. He is who he is and cannot change. I have heard that he created other worlds before he created this world so I don't think he was alone. After all he had millions of angels with him and the Son and the Holy Spirit. I wonder if he created any more worlds after this one?

Excellent point,Hopeful!!But I always thought that God needed us just like we needed him. Also I am jealous of Angels,I mean why did they get heaven by default while we got the living world? Why didn't their forefathers eat the damn fruit? Also why am I not an Angel?Sorry my knowledge is limited.

@Hopefull90 Yes,but you don't have the courage to really ask him those questions. For me I don't have any hope of getting heaven,I can never be worthy of heaven. So I will continue question God about his ways and try to know him better.

Way to go Well I am not 100% sure that God isn't there. But the ideal God wouldn't mind if you are an atheist or a believer. He will love you no matter what your views on him are.Gods of the holy books are mere creation of some primitive minds, they tried to project an all powerful God but they all failed miserably.Because their Gods were roughly based upon us humans, and God inherently got some of our bad habits and limitations.
