I have. It is disturbing to say the least. It was a reform school in Marianna Florida that opened in the early 1900 and was finally closed recently. It was known for harsh abuse and a bunch of boys just "disappeared". Well after 25 years of trying it looks like the group of former boys are trying to get the truth out about what happened there finally got their wish. They are going to exhume the bodies in the graveyard. Plus archeologists have found a lot of unmarked graves in the surrounding woods. What shocked me was it was no secret in the town what was happening to the boys there. No one did anything. The community is now allowing this investigation but not without just about being forced to. It seems most in the town just want to brush the whole thing under the carpet and forgotten. True it was a reform school. But most of the boys there were nothing more than orphans. The rest were sent by the courts. None of them deserved the treatment they got. It seems the state and community are more worried about law suits and looking bad than finding out the truth of what happened at this state run school. What do you think?

I saw something on facebook about it recently, hadn't heard of it before that though. I agree with cupkitties, the kids deserve justice. Unfortuneatelty it is doubtful any of the staff are alive today. It would be good at least to get them some form of closure though. It isn't much different than the way some courts have been found just railroading youths for money in to juvenile detention centers today :/

My dad was just talking about this. I don't know what to think about people like that. I just hope that those men get what they were looking for and everything comes out in the open. All those boys deserve justice.
