It seems that mylot has become a site for spammers

Recently I have been receiving spam emails. The other day I got a message telling me I had won millions in some lottery. Now I'll getting emails about joining some PTP site. I never did have this problem with the old mylot.

Beside what Cupkitties advises, you should also report the usernames of any people using the PM system for spamming to @GoAskAlice. He will then be able to deal with them appropriately.

Go to settings account and change your message preferences so that only those you follow can message you.

If you PM me their profile, I'll take care of it. Also, as cupkitties and owlwings have said, set your message filter and that should stop any future problems.
