I've been diagnosed with depression and anxiety. This was back in Jan2013 and was prescribed meds for it. Although I decided to stop taking them after a few months because I felt better. Now, I feel like it's coming back.. Am I relapsing? I have back aches, headaches, panic attacks and waves of sadness. Do you have experience with this?? thanks xxx

The medication was MEANT to make you 'feel better'. To stop taking anti-depressive medicine without consulting your doctor is usually a very bad idea. The usual practice is to gradually reduce the dose after a suitable time. Go back to your doctor and take his advice this time!

you can't stop taking the meds just because you feel better....the reason you were feeling better was because the meds were evening you out. when you stopped, you go back to where you were. antidepressants are not generally a "short term fix".....they are usually something you have to take for life..
