He was a controversial and complex figure to say the least. Some called him a freedom warrior, others called him a terrorist. In truth, both statements are probably true. But what cannot be denied is what he accomplished.

He was yes both of those things. George Washington was called a terrorist by the British for the first 50 years of us declaration and constitution.
