I am British but I have many American friends. Today I like to remember them and give thanks for their friendship, which has been and is very valuable to me.
I also give thanks for:
* all the other friends I have made this year. All friends are very important
* remaining fairly healthy and for living in a country which has a good health care system.
* surviving retirement and finding new and fulfilling ways of occupying my time and of keeping young.
* for many other sweet graces and mercies which are too many to enumerate!
What do you choose to be thankful for?

I am always thankful that I have a loving family. I was never close to my siblings but I'm relly thankful that my girls have a close relationship both with me and with each other.

I am thankful for friends and family. That I have two lovely children (but that's all down to me so I'm thankful for being me! :)) I'm also thankful for having made so many friends here and other sites and for my best "real" friend for always being around and listening and understanding things when no one else seems to! And loads of other things.
