I have a 15yr old daughter and an 11yr old son with dyslexia. Neither are cronic but bad enough for them to have problems at school. The daughter not been diagnosed but college helping me with getting her help. The son about to be assesed at last after a long battle with the school to get him assessed.

If she has not been diagnosed, you can get her diagnosed. You can go to Sylvan Learning Centers or there is usually a state funded group that will have your daughter assesed. Are they in special classes?

That's interesting. I didn't know that Sylvan Learning Centers do testing. I guess they don't once you're beyond high school otherwise I'm guessing the college would have informed me of that?

I'm finding that it's hard to get tested and diagnosed in college. At first, I was really into trying for it, and now I've found out I can cope on my own, so there is really no need to be tested. Best of luck to your children!
