Hi Tickytac, I have found the Computer/Internet quite bewildering firstly the computer, without it the internet would never have evolved, but on the other side of the coin would we have been better in society without it, I would say yes in many cases prior to the computer you may remember the scientific calculator, which robbed school children of their thinking instead of using their brain they used the calculator in some way a cheat t o society's values, now back to the computer after catering for office and word processing they had programs on disks then the internet came along complete with Trojan viruses, which means we have to use anti virus programs to prevent these gremlins not to mention prepaid USB GB Useage every month or by contract, and to top it all off we have scammers of all types trying to take money from us, all this to me sounds like a recipe for disaster, now with I-pads and I-phones it makes it great as a scammer's tool to make money, people are continually under threat by the internet with fake emails and websites, this is why I condemn the internet, if it was only used for online shopping/social networks music and general purposes it would be fine but it falls short of being terrific, I was happy with analog because I find digital has so many user problems, even tv strobes and freezes even with a good signal and the sound carrier cuts out, they god rid of the analogue signal before they got all the bugs out, even the Opal card has become a farce overcharging people just to make a dishonest buck, yes these greedy people have no limit what they can and will inflict on the ordinary man in the street. this is now what we call the way of life, well I just don't buy digital at all I have to use it but I feel it is a real con.
