Is your mobile phone spied ?(Introduction)

Long before the internet era, I was doing a lot of ham radio/SSTV, and made there a few friends. With friends, you want sometimes to discuss about other things than radio and weather... I can tell it today, we decided to chat using not ham radio frequencies (I know, it is bad , I do my best but I am not always an angel). One day that we were chatting, we heard a female voice saying "Who is speaking there ?" It is not polite to talk without introducing yourself and to be invited to do it, and my friend responded : "It is God speaking ! What the hell are you doing here ?" - Well, I wanted to do a phone call..." It was the beginning of cordless phones and we realized that it was one of these new hot gadgets, although not a regular one, as we were separated by several kilometers and were both hearing her. "We are gentlemen. Let's go, have your phone call, Madame. We will shut up." - But..." "But ?" - But it is a private phone call !" "If you want to have a private phone call, Madame, don't use a cordless phone." - What ? My husband offered me a new phone, and I cannot use it ? I want to use my phone !" (To be continued)

"It is God speaking ! What the hell are you doing here ?" Me: Blessed Me!!!. I came all along searching for you. All I need is a regular supply of Chocos, Cakes and Coffee. Should be simple for you. In return, I will try making at least one person smile a day.

Hello thesids ! I have responded to several, but it is my first discussion since a long time : I was not easy to find. To live happily, let's live hidden . How many sugars do you want with your coffee my friend ?

@topffer I know what exactly you mean by To live happily, let's live hidden. The forum I tried setting up went down and I had lost all the email IDs on it. Missed many of my friends. But its really pleasant to get back here and re-connect. As for sugars...this does not matter as long as that is coffee

@thesids It is a pity for the forum. Have you received the email I sent you 2 or 3 days ago, or have you changed your email address ?

Oh wow, I am not surprised though. I try to make sure my private chats are in person.

I can see you have some follow up to this discussion. I have not had this happen but I did have a neighbor with a garage door opener that turned on my bedroom light, which was on a sensor to be turned off remotely by me.

It is interesting. It looks like you were using the same frequency for the garage door and the light ! But I don't think that you would have been able to open the garage door with your remote control, as a garage door has also a code for its remote control.

I don't really use one, so I don't worry too much about it myself. But I am a paranoid sort and I don't trust the technology. Would not be surprised if they were manufactured with "back doors" built in.

Everybody should be a bit paranoid like you, but you are going too fast : I will speak about backdoors later. Thank you for your response.
