Hoping to spend some time with my step-daughter

My other half (I haven't told you about him, have I? Well, I'll be talking about him a lot!) and I are planning to have a day out tomorrow. His daughter lives around 200 miles away so he doesn't see her often. I think he's seen her once this year. Anyway, he found out on Saturday that she'd come up to visit family so he's going to his parents' today as that's where his daughter will be. D (that's my other half) had said he'd like to have some Daddy/daughter time with her on Tuesday as that's a day he doesn't normally do anything. Then he suggested that my boys spend some time with his daughter too. Then I suggested we all go out for the day. As it's summer holidays here, I like to do things with my boys. They're quite good at keeping themselves amused but it's nice to do stuff. Anyway, we said it would be nice to do that so D is going to see his daughter today and ask her about it. Hopefully, she will say yes and D will be well enough (he has health problems which means he doesn't know if he's going to be OK to do things). He'll be coming over to mine later, having dinner with us, and maybe staying over as that would be logical rather than me making extra journeys. I've been with D for a year, I've only met his daughter once, and this will be the first time the boys have met her. She's 18 so she's older than my boys who are 15 and 10. I'm sure they'll all get along, especially if we take them somewhere they'll enjoy. I think D is going to ask his daughter where she'd like to go but I might end up choosing. Neither D nor the boys really mind where we go when we go to places but they always enjoy themselves. I'll be going on holiday soon. It will be myself, D, and my youngest (Mini) (the eldest (Midi) will be in Devon with his Dad). Midi will be away for 2 weeks but we're only going for a few days. We're going to Norfolk. I've been greedy this year and had two holidays. The last one was to Wales for a week of geekiness to celebrate D's birthday. Anyway, I've done my usual trick of going off tangent. Mini has asked to play on the computer. I am just quite excited about the prospect of spending time with our three children together.

Spending time with our children is very important. My kids will be coming here tomorrow to spend a few days with me. I do get to se them every other weekend. But since it is the summer, I see them a lot more. Enjoy your vacation.
