I talk to my plants, animals and my truck...i'm not going out of my mind and so far none of them have talked back, but if they did i'm sure i would have an interesting conversation with all of them..I bet i'm missing out on some wonderful stories these mentioned could tell me about Life..how about you?..Who or what do you talk to?

I only talk to my cat. He listens politely, but I know that most of the time he is not interested by what I tell. I have always given a name to all my cars starting by the first one that I bought like a second hand (more probably a 3rd or 4th) when I was a student. It was a 2 cv Citroen called "titine" (a diminutive for "Christine") exactly like the one on the photo (photo from Wikipedia by Charles01 under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 Unported license.) and I have had long discussions with "titine". I had the time to discuss : at the crests of hills it was running at the best at 20 mph.

@Rosekitty It is a car for collectors now and it would cost a fortune today. At the time I had it for 2000 francs (about $400), and I sold it for the same price 3 years later ! I made a 2 months trip with it from France to Turkey and back (4000 miles) without any problem, and I had quite no repairs to do during 3 years. It is the best second hand deal I ever made for a car.

I greet the Sun in the morning and the Moon at night. During the day, I'll talk to whomever won't talk back! lol

I talk to lots of things. Just because they appear inanimate, doesn't mean that they can't hear what I say. Think of St Francis.

I talk to my dogs all the time and I can pretty much tell what they are saying back to me by their actions. Sometimes I will tell them things I would tell no one else.

When I wake up, I say hi to my dogs, and they go nuts. I know they don't understand me, but just the way they greet me back is so funny. They will jump around and bark and wait for me let them out. Funny girls they are.

I talk to the cats, and the dogs. The cats sometimes look interested, the dogs look like they expect praise or a beating, depending on the dog. No, I don't beat the dogs, Cujo just looks that way, even when we spray him with water, which we do instead of beating him...

I talk to all kinds of things. Of course I talk to my cat, but he actually talks back. I often talk to my computer or my phone, especially when I can't get them to do what I want. I won't say here just I tell them. I also offer comments on a lot of other things that can't respond. I think it is my way of filing them in my memory.

I talk to my mothers dog and I actually answer for him. Well, what I think he will say anyway. I do talk to my TV sometimes and my computer. Oh yes, and myself. I am good company, I never knew. LOL. Nice!!!

@Rosekitty Yes and no. But I found out I am pretty interesting. And I could also be boring at times. I do live with someone, but it is almost like living alone actually.

@Rosekitty Actually talking to plants is good for them. It is a scientific fact that plants that are spoken to on a regular basis grow better than ones that are not spoken to.

Preiti is the only pet we have now. I talk and she responds too by wagging her tail. And as for plants there are countless of them and talking to them would mean spending all my hours with them.
