I do hope I am not missing something. I tried reading all the facts but still wonder if I will do wrong and I sure hope you will tell me if I am. I will not get mad. Is there a requirement as to how long a post should be or is it the same as before? I don't mean I am intending on posting just short little questions, but just wonder if it has to be a certain amount of characters. I read and did not see that mentioned. Also wondering if it is okay to post the same content on here as on another site as long as it is my own story/news etc. in my own words. Did not see that rule either. I should probably write goaskalice, but not sure I should start bothering her right away already. I really did like it here better then other sites before. so looking forward to getting on again.

Welcome home ! I am sure there is no limit here for the length of a post, but a short one phrase discussion will probably not be a quality discussion. Not sure : if it gets good responses and comments, maybe... I don't know if it is allowed to post again here articles written for other sites. It seems to not be forbidden by the guidelines, but you have to be careful if you do it, and mention that the original article is yours to not be reported for plagiarism. And to be on the safe side, I would send a PM to GAA to have an official opinion before doing it.

@Unforgettable_Raja Red Light... Special I presume ? I am not more qualified than you or akuseru to respond : you were here before me ! The opinion of a myLot's doctor like owlwings would be interesting.

@Unforgettable_Raja That is the difference between us : I had a milk allergy when I was a baby. If it is suggested by a Superintendent, then I will try to comment, but please don't hit me.

As I remember before there was no exact length recommended but we found that discussions that were about four lines long or longer did better. I do not think you are doing anything wrong.

You must be on sites that insist on certain number of characters. Here there is no such thing but at the same time what you post should have some substance that invites a discussion. Others have answered about borrowing articles from your other sites.

Welcome back, I also would like to know about the using an article that we posted on another site. I admit I did that with my canoe trip post, but though the photos and topic are the same, the writing is different.

Welcome back! The emphasis is still on quality posting here. Alex (GoAskAlice) has been stressing that in some of his posts, so I'd say that you'll be fine if you participate like you used to. I'm not sure on the content from other sites. It wouldn't be plagiarism, since it's your own content... but they might not consider it "quality" since it wouldn't be unique to the site. That's definitely a question that @GoAskAlice can probably shed some light on for us. Personally, I'd say that it would probably be fine as long as there's something that makes it a 'discussion' here rather than just a copy and paste of something you wrote for another site.
