Life gives and life takes away.....

When I moved to this don't blink or you'll miss it little spot on the map in the middle of the Canadian Prairies 8 years ago, my hubs and I were met with a lovely welcome by our nearest neighbour. Over the years she has shared my ups and downs and been a very very good friend. A couple of months ago she contracted what we thought was shingles and a popped muscle in her back. Turns out she had cancer of the spine. I am gutted. She is in the city now undergoing treatment, but word is, she will never return to our little town. I have been caring for her gardens and casting healing spells, but none of that compensates for the loss of her presence. I miss her so much and my days have lost a certain sense of expectation.....

Hello Sparky. I am so sorry to read of this very terrible happening to your dear neighbor. How very sad. I hope that you can gain some comfort somewhere and so good of you to tend her gardens.

Oh i feel for you and the loss must be unbearable..I went through that with my neighbor and she never returned because her children didn't want the responsibility of taking care of her..so sad..she went in a home and passed on..i feel from being unloved but she was the nicest neighbor...Hugs dear one..glad you are watching over her garden and healing spells...

My neighbour is lucky in that her daughters are taking very good care of her. But oh how I miss her. She made the BEST scones! My morning coffee is just not the same.........

Those that are gone from our life are in our dreams and yes, our hearts and minds. We wish they were here and miss them sorely. I am sorry for your loss and for the health of your friend.
