A computer guru I am NOT!

I have a touch screen Asus 64bit Windows 8 laptop. I run Mozilla Firefox as my browser as IE and I have NEVER gotten along. When Windows 8.1 came out, my computer refused to auto upgrade and MicroSoft was no help at all explaining why not or solving the problem. I can't open half of my apps either which is a real pain. My computer is definitely not as intuitive as I was led to believe when I bought it! Now Windows 10 has come out and I should be able to download it, but I'm rather afraid to............anyone done that yet? Also, can someone explain to me why all of a sudden I can no longer run videos and keep getting reports that my up to date Adobe Flash Player is crashing? Again MicroSoft is no help at all!

I'm afraid to download Windows 10 too! Things always have so many bugs right when they first come out, I'm waiting until they get them worked out.

Good advice and I think I'll be waiting for awhile too before I download. CNET.com has wonderful articles and I'm following their reviews.......

I am happy with my Windows 7 provided ofcourse Microsoft stops taking interest in it and does not help to solve problems if any.
