We interacted with each other and developed some kind of a relationship but sadly when myLot took a sabbatical of sorts we all went back into our cocoons and never got in touch with each other. I did that with some but it died down gradually.
How many did you keep in touch with in the last two years that you were away from here?

I kept in touch through email and FB with quite a few of my special mylot friends. In fact, so much so, that last year I traveled a very long way across the pond (the Atlantic Ocean) to visit them. It was incredibly rewarding. You can't form special bonds with everyone you interact with, but the ones you do remain intact. Every friendship takes work....

I have kept in touch with many people - mostly not intimately but, at least, I still know who quite a few people are and have been reading some of what they post. I think, too, that many of them remember me ... whether with affection or not, I don't know.
I always believe that the best friends you can have are those who you may not speak to for weeks or months or years and yet, when you happen to meet again, you find that you can pick up more or less where you left off. What has happened in between is left to 'Any Other Business' and is not generally of much consequence to the friendship.

You may be right there. I noticed the warm welcome I got from some here although we had lost each other!
