I feel like I am on retreat

We as catholics had to have a 7 day retreat and in those 7 days we had to keep perfect silence.
I am alone here today.
I have not received any calls nor have I made any calls. In other words I have not spoken to anyone. Has this ever happened to you? This is my first time.

SEVEN whole days of not speaking?That would take great resolve and devotion! I don't thonkI could do that, lol. I would greatly enjoy a day or two of complete silence tho.
I rarely get or make phone calls. My fiancee and kids are the only calls I get, lol.

I do not do that any more. But in school we had to. Those nuns saw to it we did that and at home Mom would see to that (lol)

I dont remember when is the last time I spent an entire day without talking to anyone. I am sure it must be feeling good to be quite once in a way. I have been to retreats in my younger days and I remember enjoying the feeling of peace and quiet.
