I am artistic I got it from my father. I love maths - that too I got from my father. My love for gardening, animals, people all that I got from my mother. But I do not know where I got my lack of tolerance for people's misbehaviour around me

@phoonk - Don't worry you will develop tolerance power once you move ahead in life, get settled in a good job and finally when you get married.

I inherited honesty, sincerity, dedication to my work and politeness from my parents. Wherever I am and at whatever level I am, it is because of my parents. Their guidance, support and love allowed me to prosper in life. They both do not believe in hurting or harming anyone and I inherited the same trait. I try my best not to hurt anyone knowingly or unknowingly. I do my job with full honesty and devotion.
You have not mentioned what did you inherit from your respected parents?

@phoonk - It is great to hear that you got honesty and consciousness from your father and sacrificing nature from your mother. You are lucky and blessed that you have such a wonderful parents. I do hope that when occasion demands you do not shy away to sacrifice your comfort in favour of others.

@dpk262006 Thank you. And yes, I too hope that I don't back up when I am needed by some other person. Because after all we are humans and I think as a human being I always have the tendency of being selfish.

My dad was a wise and quiet thinker. My mom was thankful and knew how to make the best with what she had. Both parents gave good advice. Don't know if I “inherited” these characteristics or just picked up the habits from watching them.

Being Honest and Hard Working - these are the two traits that I have got from my ancestors. I wont say just my parents. My parents of course are that way, but I think they are that way just because their parents were. You cannot be honest in case you are brought up in an environment that has more of lies and show off attitude (okay, agreed, it might be just me who thinks this way).

Well like my father I work hard he taught me the value of money and a good work ethic. My mother taught me to never give up. I look more like my father with the hair and eye color though. Sadly from my dad I think I inherited acne he had it bad when he was young as I did. I still get it but not as bad

I have learnt many things from my parents but two important things that i have learnt from them are... from my mom i learnt - NEVER TO LIE!
And from my dad i learnt to ALWAYS HAVE PATIENCE !!

I would have to say my curiosity about our family tree. My mother passed that on to me, but apparently to no one else in the family. We talk for hours about family. She's 83 and I think that it helps to keep her mind healthy and strong.

Good and polite behavior , being patient and helping others when they are in need are the best qualities I inherited from my parents. They both have a helping mentality. I don't like taking advantage of others,my parents also don't like it. I have inherited this quality from my parents.
