I'm so dull. I've only posted 4 discussions since I've been back - 2 about returning and 2 about my sons. And now I'm already blank on what to post! What topics would people like to read? I stay away from topics on religion and politics . I'm just not interested and I don't know much about them to participate in debates or discussions. I like to read lighter posts and I only wish I have any creative bones so I can also write some of those posts with enough quality worth discussing about. I can come up with personal topics - but I'm sure my readers will get tired of me real fast if I keep writing about my sons . So, let's discuss what topics we shall discuss.

If you are dull - I am duller (I think I'm one post behind you!). I personally like stuff about "real life" - meaning the things that go on in all your lives. I can read "the news" anywhere, but I find it interesting when I read how "the news" affects the lives of people I know around the world. But really anything goes . . . whatever a friend wants to talk about, I'll jump in on the conversation!

You can always spend time here commenting on others' posts and while doing that you will get ideas to write your own posts. Try it.

Same here, keep coming up with ideas only to reject them because they seem so lame ..I guess I have exhausted all ideas for discussion as of now, so am thinking of responding to other discussions...

I'm so glad 'participation' on here does not mean just starting a discussion...

At least you are smarter than me. I have only 2 to my credit. Dont worry. Things would start falling in place from next week. When I will be around more.

@sishy7 And I too never spoke of quantity. I too implied more of quality discussions

I wasn't referring to the quantity actually; it's meant more toward the quality of my posts when I said dull .

I post more comments and responses, than I do in starting any discussions. I seem to draw a blank, as i want my discussion to be one that others would be interested in responding to. It is hard to come up with a good discussion, so I just let it go, until one comes to me that others might like to respond to, and after all, that is the reason for starting a discussion, is to get others interested, so we can keep it going. on that note, I am just not a good discussion starter, so that is mainly why i don't start all that many. I have statrted three I think since I came back yesterday, and that is a lot for me, as i usually don't do that many in one day. Usually just one a day, and then I won't post one again for quite awhile, unless I think of something rather soon. i guess the reason is that, I can seem to find things to say, when i comment or respond, but starting discussions, is a different thing entirely. Take care, and have a great day.

@mealid Exactly! And in my case, the few discussions I came up with were not epic - so anything more boring than they already are will certainly send my readers away...

Thank you! I suppose there are lots of topics I could write - just have to turn them into interesting discussions somehow...

Well I am up for reading pretty much anything. Well not politics or religion so much. Since I write about personal things often I like to read that. Or how to stuff or DIY projects.

Yes, I like to read about art, craft, and creative projects too. But writing my own is an entirely different thing for me - I'd need a good dose of creative juices first...

Any discussion will do as long as you are happy sharing it. Be it an opportunity, love, money, love of money, friendship, etc. as long as you think it is worth sharing, then go for it! As for me, I am into participating in other discussion at this time because I still have to think of what to write about. Have a great day!
