I Miss Mikey

That is, I miss @PhredWreck, cause he is gone. I also miss any other of my connections that are only here sporadically. They seem to post good discussions for me to follow up on, so I do not have to write my own. I miss @Hatley but I bet she turns up later and @AmbiePam and @Carmelanirel2 who is probably having a busy time getting her boy back in school.
I need to look up @Finlander60 because he is back. For anyone who does not know, that is my hubby. I know he updated an old discussion this morning. I have not done that yet, either.
I miss @Webeishere but he has been gone long before we shut down. @SKSouth was a favorite as well.
So that I do not miss the meal hubby has made, I guess I had better go.

That is Webeishere and he left long before the final changes. He is not doing a lot of stuff except FB. He lives less than ten miles from my daughter and sometimes we visit with him and Deb. We did not in June, but we did last January.

Perga? is that pergamano? I will have to look for her. I have someone floating in the back of my mind that I cannot remember. A young man from Texas, I believe. He was in construction but he had a heart condition as well.

A lot of people I used to have in my social circle are gone and not returning. But I have a new circle of people I know from bubbleland and I am meeting new people, too. I should look up Findlander, I don't know why I never did that before on the bubble.

Wow, so many to miss, I know @hatley hasn't been back nor has @PhredWreck, well, not as Phred anyway but hopefully the others eventually turned up.

I have seen @Webeishere in person, and on FB. Finlander is trying it again. @SKSouth is in my connections on FB. Same for @Carmelanirel2. I believe she uses another name now, I see her here and @AmbiePam . There are some who passed, some who just faded away, and at least one who was rumored to have passed but did not. I am glad for the friends I have made here.

10 years ago I would not have believed I could really care about someone I met online @Carmelanirel2 now I find so many cyberfriends I actually care about. It's what glues me to Mylot.

@GardenGerty I am still using that name here, and around as much as I can now that I am working outside the home.
@rebelann that is so true, it is hard to believe how we bond with people online, without ever meeting them, and when they are gone, it breaks our heart just as much.

Hey @GardenGerty I'm here, I just don't get on some site during Shabbat. However, I am also getting ready for not only my son who starts school this Monday, but my own that starts the following week. I have a list of the small amount of school supplies he needs, this is due in part because I save anything that is still in good condition plus I have things I use for my own classes I may not use. For example since he starts a week earlier, I am going to give him my binder I used last semester.

I got my brain all twisted for a while, thinking today was yesterday. I know that you take a shabbat rest day. I kinda miss school, but not really.

@GardenGerty I know I will miss the classes I loved, like the Writing classes and Biz (where I learned everything about Microsoft Word) and I will probably even miss the Geology class I took last semester where we went on field trip and the math class with the teacher from Poland who was extremely fun, but unless my Geology and math instructors are really fun, I don't think I would miss them.
