Avoiding every risk to increase longevity. Is it worth it?

I read this piece of news somewhere that watching tv reduces one's life span but was not deterred one bit. If we were to avoid those things that would reduce longevity I wonder if it is worth living at all. There are so many things listed that can reduce our life span but we go about doing exactly what we want to do. Life is for living and not keeping it locked somewhere. Those who smoke and those who drink are fully aware of what that does to their health but continue nevertheless. And what about those who perform trapeze acts where the risk of losing a life is the greatest. But they do it all the same. On the one hand we are warned and yet on the other opportunities are created relentlessly that could reduce our life span. Life goes on

Live. Live everyday. Don't worry about dying because it happens to all of us.... sometimes sooner than planned even if we followed all the best advice on being safe and well. I just want to live the best way I can that leaves my content and others feel that I have added to their lives in a good way.

We cant avoid everything we are told is bad for us. We would have to live in a glass bubble and eat celery forever.

A few challenges here and there make living interesting.
