Why do we do what we do?

Many of us have different reasons to work or not to work, the kind of company , job profile,place, family etc. etc. but what is it truly that drives people to take certain paths and not take the other. Is everyone following the path wherever the wind takes him or doesn it all at the end boils down to money?

I usually go for what I like... not the path where the wind will take me neither, not monetary motivated.

@Mavic123456 I couldn't envy you more because the way I see things around me everyone is following what I call a herd behaviour trying to conform to norms rather than looking for individuality.

@thinkbeliever wow.. now I don't understand that. i don't find conforming to norms a problem.. Norms are good aren't they?
