New Job / myLot

Today I am off to start a new job but haven't been able to say anything as away on summer leave from the camp so cannot tell them until I return in September. The new people have aid for me to go in today and tomorrow to see if i like it before making my decision as I will have been at the camp 8 years in October. I did hand my notice in in January but they wouldn't accept it and asked me to reconsider but since moving house further away the commute is a nightmare and running my own business part time too. When was the last time you started a new job? Were your nervous? Excited? Did you actually like it better than you last one or regret switching jobs? Will update how I got on in comments later :)

It's been a while since I've started a new job. I've been a stay-at-home mom for the last 4 years. But the last time I started a new job, I was nervous, but I was a little excited too. I hope that everything goes well for you. Good luck!

Hi Dodo19, It went very well, in fact I already feel at home there which is good and they made me feel like I would be an asset to them, bit tired now as was on my feet all day. Thank you for the good wishes :)

Congratulations on getting a new job! I am also getting a new job this month and I am excited! It's day shift and it's not purely answering phone calls. Oh yeah!

Congrats on your new job :D It is always nice to have a job. The last time i started a job was last April 2015. I got mixed emotions too. I was super scared, but happy to have a job, sad that i didn't do much during the summer but also excited to meet new people.
