Do You Have Chronic Knee Pain?

Few months ago, I suffered from chronic knee pain. When I noticed, the pain was getting worse, I took time to see a doctor who found out through knee x-rays that I am suffering from osteoarthritis. The doctor gave me two options. The costly knee injection (two shots at $535 each) or take glucosamine sulfate. I took glucosamine for 30 days but it had very minimal help. I was about to give in to knee injection but I remembered water therapy. I read somewhere that this helps many health issues so I thought there is no harm in trying. You know what? After 2 months of drinking 12 or more glasses of mineral water (real mineral not purified), my knee condition has largely improved. The pain is gone. I could feel some slight pain once in a while but it is manageable. I am back to my normal activities. Thank God! If you have this same condition, you might as well try water therapy too.

Not just the pain in knee. I am enduring a wrist and knee pain for a year and its hitting when I failed to take NSAIDS. Do you mean I should also try mineral water? I am confused.

Sometimes I have wrist pain and knee pain problem too. I am not sure how it is in your case, but for mine, it seems like I get better if I do more exercises. I used to go jogging every morning for just a few days, and my wrist was not painful. I am not sure why, my husband said it could be lacking of exercises caused me the pain. I did medical examination and everything was fine. Have you consulted any doctor?

Yes do try, just be consistent in drinking 12 glasses of water every day. Spread the 12 glasses or more within the day till night time before you go to sleep.

@salonga I will do it and see what happens. Did you notice a difference right away or did it take some time?

Thank you for sharing the water therapy, and glad to hear you are feeling well now. Sometimes I have the knee pain problem as well, I am not sure what problem it is, but I went for medical examination, everything is fine. I will check out the water therapy and see if it will help. Thanks again!

@salonga I did a scan on my knees, but I can't remember if it's X-ray or any other scan (just to scan the bone density). Thanks for sharing that. Perhaps I should consult the doctor next time.

The best way to know the root cause of the pain is to have knee X-ray just as I did but for the meantime try if you will get relief with water therapy.

That's really good, I am happy for you I had heard about water therapy now to actually come to know that it works is very comforting because my cousin too has a similar problem and she really suffers a lot from knee pain and has been advised surgery ..I guess water therapy is definitely worth trying before looking at other options ..

As we age we are prone to osteoarthritis but we can always do something to help ourselves. Green tea is good, keep drinking it my friend.

what brand this is so that i can buy it. some how the purified water I'm drinking on probably won't help me with my knee problems in the future.

@salonga Yes, I have heard too much purified water might make some people feeling leg pain. I am not too sure about this. Perhaps as yo said, it's making us acidic.

Luckily, I don't have knee pain, but I do have severe back pain. My mom has knee pain though. I will suggest this idea to her and see if it helps.

Your Mom needs to try this, it is just a matter of consistency in drinking that much amount of mineral water.
