My grandson has gone through two pairs of ear buds of mine

Doesn't make me happy. After that last discussion I was going to go listen to some Jimmy and remembered that I have no ear buds. Drats! He chews on them and they finally go defunct. I hope that I remember to pick up another pair (or two) when I get to the store.

Maybe he needs to chew gum instead. Chewing does help kids concentrate.

Yes, I think so too. I am afraid he will get shocked.

He CHEWS them? Well that doesn't sound safe at all. Maybe wrap the cord of the ear buds in embroidery floss? I saw someone do it on pinterest. I'm not sure if that would protect them. Maybe he'd not want it in his mouth though.

Dental floss? What is that going to do? Is that for him to chew on you mean or?

@celticeagle Not dental floss. Embroidery floss. The thick thread/string that you cross stitch with or that girls make friendship bracelets with.

@nonersays -- Okay. And what is that supposed to do? I think he'd still be able to chew on it.

I've had mine for years. I gave him my second pair that I had for back up and he wore them out. Then I gave him my new pink ones he wore them out too.
