Do You Oblige Beggars?

There are many beggars in my town.You will see them sitting near any religious places.When they ask me for money,I oblige only those who are too old or handicapped.What about you?Do you give alms to beggars?

Nope they will only be encouraged to beg some more so I'd rather donate to the church instead or donate to those who do something instead of begging. Like if they play instruments on the street I will surely give some spare change. Beggars are everywhere and I don't think they'll disappear anytime soon.

Yes@owstalaga,some of them sing and play instruments.They at least do something as an attempt to make both ends meet,but some among such beggars are physically fit enough to work somewhere as labours.Once I had helped such a beggar in getting employed as a labour at a construction site.
