Where Do You Get Your Coffee?

Today we tried out a new local coffee shop. It has some special coffee but also what they call a pour over which is a fresh cup of drip coffee made just for you. It was made with their house Nicaraguan beans and was a very smooth cup of coffee. My husband had that and I tasted his. I had a cappuccino which is what I love. It is not easy these days to just have a plain old cup of coffee. What do you order?

It's true. coffee has become a huge industry and a fashionable thing to drink if you drink at the fashionable places. I usually just go for a coffee that I know I like, but honestly, am really happy to just have Dunks.

Agree with coffee being the drink of choice of yuppies . Seems like people go to coffee shops to be seen and not just to merely drink coffee! LOL!

Back in the day, I usually have a cappuccino but since I've been trying to lose weight, I've switched to just plain black coffee.

My hubby can stand black coffee. I don't know how he does it but I guess when you don't have time or money to be fussy you take it plain / black

@Beatburn I know what you mean. I used to have a shot of espresso added to my coffee. I'd be wired for hours!!! LOL!

I want brewed coffee but can only have two cups a day. Beyond that is a recipe for disaster. I wouldn't be able to sleep.

@SIMPLYD Not too terribly, less than $200 and it does a very good job.

When I go out for a coffee I order an espresso. We do not have fashionable coffees here, just espresso, cappuccino or the so called American coffee, that is an espresso with much more water.

I do love cappuccino but I find espresso too strong for me alone.

@BelleStarr The espresso made outside Italy is not good, the real espresso should not be strong. When it's well made I can drink it without sugar. In Switzerland is not very good, if I want a good espresso I cross the border (or I use my espresso machine).

typically if I get a coffee it's a cappicino from the gas station with tons of sugar and cream. Though due to necessity I have started drinking coffee but it's half coffee and half milk with sugar or with hot mix.

I am the kind of girl who prefers just ordinary coffee, not the kind with tons of things added to it.

I do drink my coffee black. I prefer not to embellish it.

I usually just order a plain old cup of coffee. If I am at Starbucks, I love their caramel macchiato.

I don't order a coffee, I always get my coffee in the office. There are giving it for free with Different Flavor. Nice right?

We have a lot of Italian coffee bars in Germany. But Germans have also learnt to make coffee the Italian way which is the best. -- Something else: I've mentioned you in my last post but although I put an '&' in front of your name, it wasn't highlighted. So you'll never know about it.
