People Who Don't Like Math (Except Algebra and Logic)

Earlier I had an 8 minute online exam on numerical reasoning and I bombed it. Dangit. The time was too short for a 15 or 20 item exam! I don't really like math that much, or maybe I just have the artist stereotype thinking of hating math. Ugh. I do like solving problems and equations hence my love for algebra and the quadratic equation, but I still bombed that very short exam and I hate it. If I had a longer time frame I would have done a better job. This means I have to practice on more numerical aptitude exams if I want to improve on it. Oh boy. Anybody else also got a problem with math?

Maths was my favourite subject and I did quite well. My only problem was that I lost marks because of careless mistakes.

I still wonder what is in math that is enjoyable for some people. I know about Algebra but other maths, except the basics, I just don't like.

@allknowing Yes I did get highs when solving algebra problems, that's why I loved the subject back in high school. Not interested in all the rest though.

@owstalaga We had subjects such as trigonometry, calculus, and geometry while at college. I have forgotten quite a bit of it.Solving problems gets one the 'high; They are intriguing too such as any number raised to the power of zero is one. And zero raised to any power is zero. Go find out

I always like Math since I was young. I just think it's an interesting subject to study, and we do not need to memorize for exam as long as we got the concept right. But, after years not studying Math, I think I will surely fail for the exam. I think we need to always practice in order to remember something or be good at something, at least for me, as I'm not a talent. My 6yo son is always asking me about the Math now, so I think my calculation (mental Math) has been improved slightly lately.

@owstalaga Yes, it is. I have really learned a lot ever since I became a mother. I have learned many skills that I never thought I'd learn, such as knitting, crocheting, sewing, drawing, etc. Though I am not an expert in doing these, at least I can make some toys for my children, that's good enough for me.

I am not good in Math, lol! I am very careless with numbers even if it's only addition and subtraction. If there is one thing that I can't live without, it's probably my calculator. In school though, I remember I did good in Algebra and Calculus but that was long time ago.

Yeah, good thing there are calculators or else we'd be in trouble. Never learned Calculus in college because I shifted to Fine Arts. Bwahaha~ I heard a lot of things about it being difficult and such but maybe I would have been good with it because I also like Algebra? Who knows? I'd rather not know for now.

I love math. Specially when I am always seeing a Php or USD in front of it. I love Algebra and hated Triigo. :)

Ah that's business then and not math exactly. I loved Algebra too! All those equations are so lovable!!! Trigo was okay but Algebra was my favorite.

Haha! It is lovely to see numbers to have monetary signs on it. :)
